Unwanted hair is a common enough problem and most women who are affected by it will say, like you, that they have had the condition since puberty.
In the vast majority of cases the cause is genetic in that some races have a tendency to have more body hair than others.
There is also personal and individual variation with some people having very smooth skin, even men, and others having more hair.
Having explained all this, you are still faced with the problem.
There are numerous ways of removing unwanted hair such as depilatory creams for soft downy blonde hair on the upper lip, plucking for the eyebrows, waxing and shaving.
But for widespread areas on the lower body none of these are practical or suitable.
Epil 2000 is a form of electrolysis using the tweeze method. Here, tweezers grasp the hair shaft and an electric current is applied to the tweezers and conducted down the hair shaft to the hair root, so destroying it.
The treatment is controversial however, because some people believe it may damage the surrounding skin and cause scarring. It is also impractical for large areas.
You would need several treatments and there would be significant cost involved, but at least the result would be good and permanent. You would do far better to explore laser treatment, which is particularly effective for dark hair.
